Welcome to our New Friends!

It's exciting to see all the new visitors on our site, and immensely encouraging to receive with increasing frequency so many inquiries from our regulars as to what the future holds.  We wanted to post an update to both introduce new people to our league, and simultaneously let members know what to expect in the months to come.

If you are here for the first time, we are so happy to have you!  You have found your way to a truly special community.  We all came together through our love of playing table tennis, but the connections we've formed have become so much bigger than that.  In our first year of operation, we brought together over 400 people of all skill levels from every background, life experience, and corner of the globe.  Everyone who has participated has been immediately made to feel welcome and valued, and this approach to organization has resulted in a culture that is positive, enthusiastic, and distinctly our own.  You are invited to check out our Videos, Statistics, and General Info pages to get better acquainted with our project, and to visit our Updates page to stay current with any important announcements.

In the short time we had before having to put things on hold, we are proud to have hosted 68 events, 5 championship matches, and almost 10,000 officially sanctioned games.  By the night of our last gathering, we were riding a wave of energy and momentum that had reached an all time high, and we are looking forward to picking up where we left off.  We are currently doing our best to balance everyone's eagerness to resume play with caution and thoughts toward safety.  While we are not yet ready to set a firm date for our return, we want to communicate clearly that that day will come, and that the plans for the future are substantial.  Our vision is to come back bigger, better, and readier to grow than ever before.  We can't wait to get the group together again and show you all what we have in store!  If you have any questions, or would like to reach out to us for any reason, please send your message to fluidtabletennis@gmail.com.
